Reviews and comments for One Moment In Time's small-scale production, The Bird Book, and related educational workshops:

An inspiring and brilliantly thought through bit of theatre. This sort of production should be celebrated and encouraged as a means of engaging children with environmental matters

The Bird Book performance was calm, enlightening and charming. The story was clear, and the pace was excellent. We enjoyed seeing the puppets and sets come to life, and the children in the audience sat so still! Good quality puppets and storytelling – thankyou!

It was a totally fantastic experience, and The Bird Book attracted a much larger audience than I expected. I believe the benefits for our library will felt for years to come, The Bird Book captured the imagination of all who came. I was delighted to see the enthusiasm of the children who took part in the workshop and their imaginative responses to the task. We intend to book you again in the near future!

I went to watch “The Bird Book” at Tetherdown school, Haringey. The children were spellbound by the presentation.  Gerry and Bronia were inspirational in their storytelling, use of live music and amazing puppetry and prop design. I highly recommend it.

The Bird Book was a real treat for the eye and the ear. Wonderful to look at and listen to without a glimpse of technology! The show was Fascinating, satisfying and involving. The workshop provide excellent activities which made the whole experience complete.

The Bird Book appealed to the children’s fascination with facts, adventure and imagination. What will be on the next page?! Such creativity. The children were very cleverly involved in the story, so maintaining their attention at all times. A great balance of music and storytelling, fantastic puppets. Amazing – I loved every minute, thank you!

The workshop was extremely well led with clear instructions and very well prepared. The puppets take on a life of their own…!

The workshop and the show were very enjoyable. The children were engaged and have remembered a lot. It’s great they have their own puppet now to retell and improvise their own stories!
